I met this "entertainer" in Orlando in July. We both are 22. I spent about 6000 on her during this 1 month. I came back to my college in PA. I promised her I would visit her soon and often. Since August 1st, we have consistently talked over the phone. She asked for money a couple of times and I sent her about 1000 more through western union. I went to see her again for 2 days on my birthday in September 3rd week. I gave her a 1000 more for a day just coz I loved her. We would talk on the phone and she would be all "baby, I love you" etc. This weekend, on Oct. 7th 06, she asks me to give her 500 to pay her rent or she will be kicked out. I got it from my bro and gave her and told her since its my brothers', to pay it back. She now has not called me since sunday, Oct. 8th or picked up my calls. Last night, I called her 12 times in 12 hours, once every hour just to get a hold of her. Tonite I plan on calling her once every 30 minutes.
AM I HARASSING HER?

wHAT SHOULD I IN THIS SITUATION?

AVE HER MY EVERYTHING. I LOVED HER SO MUCH. I WOULD BUY CARDS FOR HER AND GIVE HER CLOTHING GIFTS AND BUY SKATEBOARD FOR HER 7YR OLD BROTHER.

1) I DONT KNOW WHY SHE IS NOT EVEN ANSWERING. IF SHE WANTS TO 'BREAKUP', SHE SHOULD ATLEAST TALK OUT OF RESPECT FOR EVERYTHING I HAVE DONE AND NOT COMPLETELY IGNORE ME.
2) I HAVE LOST ALL FAITH AND RESPECT FOR WOMEN.
THIS IS UNIMAGINABLY RUDE AND HURTING.
TELL ME IF I SHOULD STOP CONTACTING HER OR BE PERSISTENT IN TRYING TO CALL HER.

CALLING HER ONCE EVERY 30 MINUTES IS TOO MUCH? IT JUST GOES IN HER VOICEMAIL. SHOULD I LEAVE ANY MESSAGES?

I CANNOT IMAGINE STOPPING TO CALL HER. I WAS MADLY IN LOVE WITH HER. HOW CAN THIS BE POSSIBLE?
HOW CAN SHE NOT TALK TO SOMEONE WHO SHE CLEARLY KNOWS LOVES HER SO MUCH?

THIS IS THE WORST THING ANYONE CAN EVER DO TO ME.

FRANKLY SHE CALLS HERSELF AN ENTERTAINER BUT SHE IS PRETTY MUCH A PROSTITUTE.

MATTER OF FACT I LOST MY VIRGINITY TO HER. THATS WHY I WAS SO ATTACHED TO HER.

I GUESS IHATE TO AGREE BUT IT MIGHT BE TRUE THAT NOW THAT SHE KNOWS I DONT HAVE MONEY RIGHT NOW, SHE DOES NOT WANT TO TALK ANYMORE.

BUT THATS STUPID BECAUSE SHE KNOWS I AM GOING TO EARN MONEY AND USED TO LOVE HER SO MUCH THAT I WAS GOING TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY ON HER IN THE FUTURE. SHE SHOULD HAVE KEPT ME AROUND FOR THE LONGTERM.

I THINK SHE MADE A STUPID DECISION OF COMPLETELY IGNORING ME.

I STILL DONT UNDERSTAND THE PSYCHOLOGY BEHIND NOT TALKING ONE LAST TIME AND ASKING ME TO NOT CALL HER.

I GUESS SHES SETTING A TRAP FOR A CASE OF ME HARASSING HER. I HAVE DECIDED I AM NOT GOING TO CALL HER ANYMORE

you, my friend, have been had.

Advise # 1: Don't fall in love with hookers (I suppose that's what you meant by "entertainer")...

Advise #2: Don't spend $6,000 in 1 month on a girl you just met. You can't win a girl's love by flashing money at her.... You might win her panties for a few hours but she's just using you and frankly, you asked for it.

Advise #3: Accept that you paid $7,500 for a lesson in Love. Try to get your money's worth by NEVER MAKING THESE MISTAKES AGAIN.

Otherwise... drop it, get over it and don't be too mad at her or womankind in general... this one's your fault. Take your medicine and move on.

PS: Stop calling her. She's not going to answer EVER and you're just looking more and more like a fool.

Okay, yes you are right that she should be answering/paying you back, etc. but that sure as hell doesn't NOT mean she will. This girl is taking COMPLETE advantage of you. I mean, not to be rude, but as an "entertainer" do you really think she only has one relationship? Little less a phone relationship? Stop wasting your time and ESPECIALLY your money on this girl and YES leave her a message saying you will get your 8500 dollars back whether it means you have to get authorities involved or not. She's not going to answer if you call her every 30 minutes, that's definetely harrassment. I'm sorry this is happening

wow, that was the most awful way to start a relationship. Sorry she just used you for the money. You may never get the $500 back. And yes, it is considered harrassment if you are calling her 12 times in 12 hours or if you leave rude messages.

If you want the money back, I guess you'll have to try small claims court and see if you get lucky.

Sorry about your situation

The reason there are people like her around is because there are people like you around. It takes all kinds to make the world go around. You have learned a tough lesson but don't let it turn you against all women, you have to accept your roll in all of this. I don't know how much money you make or hookers make but the money you are talking about is a lot of money to be tossing around in the first month of a relationship. She just worked you and it wasn't your fault because you were thinking with your pocket rocket, you just got overexcited. You should beware, it could happen again unless you work on your self esteem and try to find a nice girl who will like you for you. Go to church or something and stop hanging around the areas that entertainers frequent.

Do not want to break your heart but she is only after your money. Stop calling her, take the first flight and go to see her. Do not tell her about your visit and I am 100% sure that you will find her milking some other man !! You are just 22 years old and you have life ahead. Forget your 7500 if you want to save your life and more money.

Shame and you got it really bad. You lost your virginity to a prostitute, you lost your money and now you have to pay back to your brothers. She knew from day one that you loved her and were willing to do anything for her to be happy so she took advantage of you.
I know it's the only way for you to act but yes you are harassing her and she deserves it for what she has done. Unfortunately continuing to call her will just make you resent her more and it's not healthy for you. Rather move on with your life and word of advice stop showing a girl you love her with money and so soon, you'll be taken for a ride. Good luck in moving on, I know it will be hard to do so but it will be worth it.

You started off the relationship wrong. You should have never spent that much money on someone you dont know unless they are dying. When you first start dating, flowers, candy, and cards are enough trust me. Once you started giving her large sums of money without a serious almost marriage commitment, you might as well have written ATM on your forehead. She just was a gold-digger next time dont dish out alot of money before you really really really get to know someone.

The problem is with you.,buying her things wont make her love you. You will end up being used while she has someone else on the side. She is seing you as a provider not as a man in her life. Next time she asks for money, tell her to go to hell.

Leave her alone. Dude, surely you must realize that she loved your money and not you. Your generosity was a bit excessive. You don't hand over that kind of cash to a woman who isn't your wife. If you keep pestering her, then she could go to the cops and say you are harassing and/or stalking her.
Chalk this one up to experience and never go there again.

I'm sorry to tell you this but your this girl was just using you for money, and now that you don't have anymore you probably won't see her ever again. Just forget about her and find somebody else that likes you for you not for your gifts or money, there are women out there that also care about things other than money.
