How old were you when you decided to be str8 and not gay? Was it a long struggle? Did you tell your friends first, and then your family?

sorry, I'm just curious. I hear Xians in here ranting all the time how being gay is a "moral choice" and a sin. I was just curious about when they made their choice NOT to be gay...it must have been as memorable as choosing to believe in the sky pixie.

Boy, most of you people really don't have the irony gene.
And I directed it to Xians cause I've never heard buddhists or pagans condeming gay people for their "choice"

I never said I was gay...I'm not...Why do assum I'm gay just because I asked the question (that you didn't actually answer, by the way)

not that there's anything WRONG with that...to quote Seinfeld

I love this question. It demonstrates the hypocricy of their position.

It is obvious to straight person they never "chose" to be straight, yet so many religious nutters hatefully turn a blind eye to that inconvenient fact and claim gays choose it be gay.

Hello there,

I think since I was born. I knew I always wanted to be married and have babies. The thought never even occured to me to be a homosexual.

In fact, I do not even recall knowing any homosexuals in high school. The topic never came up.

Being a heteroseuxal was never a struggle with me. It is just what I am. It is what the Lord created me to be becaus how else would I help populate the world if I even thought of being a homosexual?

Every friend I have and family member are hetrosexuals. So I can not help you there. Sorry.

If you are struggling with this issue, have you ever thought about praying to your Creator? The Lord of all creation? He can give you direction and some answers you seek,

Here are some websites you can go to if you are struggling with this urge to be a homosexual:

In Christ, Mommy of Twins...

I didn't choose to be straight ,I am straight, that's what the problem is with this issue, you feel like you can pick and choose ,gay or straight, you were born one way anything else is your choice, and its a perversion. If people didn't believe they had a choice, and it's (SO OK,IT THE NOW THING TO DO) straight to gay ratio would be alot higher, and also pressure from friends or seeing it constantly everywhere has desensitize the gay agenda to where it's become OK,but it not.

At conception. My mom was in labor for 14 hours so I guess it was quite a struggle. Yeah, all my friends, and family, are very accepting. We all have stickers on the back of our windows! Yay!!! There's a straight parade coming up, hope to see you there!

Wow you really flipped out over being thought of as gay. And you say we Christians are way off.

As a Christian, I condemn practicing homosexuality because I believe that God is against it. It is forbidden in Scripture.

I personally do not believe it is a choice. I believe people are most likely born that way. It is unfortunate that a homosexual person has to battle their urges for their lifetime - but God is clear about it being an abomination.

It is not a decision my brother for too many times has Satan or his angels tried, but i can not be over come for i stand not by my own strength. My high tower and my deliverer Jesus Christ is my wisdom, strength, and life. Homosexuality is an evil spirit which is so powerful it corrupts the mind of men or women to lust after one another. You think because their is a desire it is your own, so that voice telling you to kill or murder some one, because you hear it you should do what it says? Lean not on your own understanding, for the wisdom of mankind is smoke dissipating into the air.

The question assumes that all people struggle with there sexuality. it is the same as asking when did you decide to have sex strictly with your species and how hard was that to overcome? Christians understand that many people struggle with many sexual orientations there are many sins regarding sex not simply homosexuality. fornication, adultery. bestiality, incest...Not all Christians had to struggle with each of these issues but all people make sexual choices some are perfectly natural and they don't seem like choices at all however if you have decided to date within your species that in itself is a decision relative easy one for most of us granted not one most of us had to struggle with. More people probably have trouble overcoming things such as fornication. But believe it or not these are choices whether you care to admit it or not. One may have grown up with a sexual preference wheter or not it is born with them or not is imaterial Should one practice sex according to what they consider a birthright? Well if you truely believe this perhaps besteality should be practiced? Incest? if you were born with an attraction to family members? Fornication is a sin and many people have a problem dealing with this yet they do not claim it is not a choice they either choose to practice sex within marraige or they don't they do not asy well i was born this way of course youw ere all of us were born with a sin nature some of us choose to allow God to forgive them and to change them and to deakl with them others claim it as a right after all we were born this way. many people may well be born with a nature to steal or murder or do many other things that society frowns upon but like it or not we make choices sometimes based on our nature and sometimes based on our faith.

The thought of being gay never crossed my mind. I was born straight.

Besides there are people who are gay and profess to be Christian.

Now! To show your not a biased bigot. Why don't you as Pagans, Atheist, Muslims and Jews this same question.
