If you have the full opportunity to have sex with opposite sex and are enjoying but even then you are feeling the need to have sex with same sex then you should think about it seriously otherwise need not worry because same sex relationships occur mainly due to lack of ventilation in the normal way and you can think this also like mastrubation.

i am a lesbian. haven't been with a man in over 20 years, i to was raped 5 different times while i was growing up. that is not the reason for my sexuality (the rapes) but i can see an attractive man and find him sexually attractive. i know thats not what would make me happy or satisfied. we as human beings are sexual beings and sexuality is different for everyone of us. on a spectrum 0 being totally straight and 10 being totally homosexual; most people fall in between, no one being a total 1 or 10.

I don't think about sexuality as having much to do with sex. I think its more about how you fall in love. I'm married and consider myself mostly heterosexual. I have had sex with other women but I don't think that I could fall in love with another woman. Random sexual thoughts comes along with being human. You're not weird or strange in anyway and you're not gay. There is a big difference between having sexual thoughts or even fantasies about member of the same sex and falling in love. Even if you are gay, there is still nothing strange or weird about you.

Its normal to think about the same sex, and same sex relations throughout your life. It doesn't make you gay or really have anything to do with your sexual assault, but rather a normal progression.
