YES AND NO,those people most killed their own people with car bombs and land mines,so don't blame him if those people are so uncivilized they'd rather kill each other than live in peace, and the congress voted to go to war so let don't forget who all is involved in this,a lot more that want to stand up and be counted or do their part as an American citizen. And show the other nations we are a united nation we right now are showing our total lack of brains, they are watching us and having a good laugh, now do you feel any responsibility or remorse for not standing up for your country.

I voted for George Bush. First off the number of Iraqis killed is debatable. The figure 655,000 comes from household interviews and not body counts. These figures could be unreliable as the Iraqi opposition has every reason to exaggerate the numbers.
whether the numbers are correct or not i personally do not feel responsibility for the deaths. Saddam Hussein was a tyrant who was committing genocide on the Kurds. Why do some people urge the US to protect innocent people in Darfur but conveniently forget Hussein had murdered ONE MILLION of his people in the last decade. I'm am not so naive to believe the US acted to protect the Kurds and never even thought about the oil but I will say this: 10 years (must look at the big picture) from now the region and by extension the world will be better off because we invaded Iraq.
For the people who died I feel terrible but how many would Saddam have killed if allowed to continue in power. How many of those killed were blown up by islamo fascists who refuse to allow free thought and human rights.
The US is far from perfect but in my opinion no nation has done so much good in the world only to take so much criticism.

Yes I voted for him....given the opportunity and the choice I had then, I'd do it again. He was the best choice at the time. I think the world put him in a no win situation with all the garbage that has gone on during his tenure. Anyone would be made to look like a fool because nothing would have been the right thing.

Regarding the Iraqis, most of them are killing their own because of their off kilter religious 'policies'. Did so many Americans die in the civil war because of Abe's 'policies'? No, they died because half them wanted slaves and the other half didn't.

For some reason, people have a desire to distrust their leaders. I just don't buy the fact that the president is out to get me, the poor, Iraqis, oil, or anyone else except Osama. He's doing the best job he can with the world we live in.

Yes I voted for him 2 times....the first time I was a democrat and I still voted for him...the second time I became a republican and voted for him....and I am only sorry that he cant run again because I would vote for him again.....
and for the other part of your question...no I don't feel any responsibility for the Iraqis that have lost their lives.....the people of Iraq should hold that responsibility...it is their country sooner later they have to get it together....Bush is trying to help them but they need to get it together themselves and do right by their own people and grow up and not be so immature and think everything is settled with hate and violence....democracy works....try it

No, I live in Australia. If I were an American I wouldn't have voted for him, though. And if I did vote for him I would feel very much responsible for the consequences of his policies.

Yes i voted for George Bush, both times. And yes i am proud to have him as our president.
Based on the assumptions you made in your question that Bush is responsible for each of those lives, I assume you have not read or heard the news about the thousands of muslims that kill each other daily there. Rather than choosing to live in peace. Also if we are to feel guilty about the many that have died since the actions in Iraq began. Are we also allowed to be proud of the fact that due to those actions a madman is no longer in power... and that the lives of the hundreds of thousands he tortured and murdered can now rest in peace, and have the knowledge that due to the price our fighting men and women have made he will not be able to do it to several hundred thousand more?

If so then yes I am very proud.... not only as a united states citizen, but also as an honorably retired Veteran of our military. I stand fully behind our fighting men and women and pray for them daily.

God bless you

I don't vote at all. Maybe I should, but I don't keep up on politics and I don't want to be responsible for getting someone in there that's going to do a crappy job. If Kerry had one who knows if he would have done any better than Bush. It can't be easy to run the USA. I'm glad it doesn't fall on my shoulders to do it. That's all I know.
