I'm watching Good Eats and Alton Brown is eating popped popcorn in bowl with milk like you would do with cereal. Does anybody do this? How does it taste?

My Dad was a young man during the depression, his family ate popcorn with milk and sugar on it, for breakfast. He always thought it was because they were poor, and never told anyone about it, it embarrassed him. But with all the jet-puffed cereals on the market, and the ones made of corn, I do not see much difference. Wish he had talked about it. Do not know when the process of making puffed cereal started, but it might have been his name on a cereal box! LOL.
It tastes like a popcorn ball with milk on it.

Only after a big bowl of pop corn would I then drink a LARGE glass of ice cold milk to wash it down. Awesome!! but never as a bowl cereal. unless no salt no butter with a little sugar. May need to think about that. Might not be awful.

I love buttered popcorn with milk on top! Of course I don't mind the texture as it does get soggy but I like that and the flavor is really yummy :)

I never eat cereal, but if I were going to try this, it would have to be carmel corn..
Eating cereal to me is like pouring a bag of cookies in a bowl and adding milk.. it is all just sugar with little or no nutritional value.

It kind of tastes like the puffed rice, not the crispy ones. I don't care for it but there are many who do.
