What can I say - I'm a sucker for infomericals. lol. I keep hoping that one of these advertised topical cremes will really make the hair baby fine until it finally disappears completely. Has anyone ever tried anything like this and had any luck with it?

The only way I know of for permanent hair removal is a procedure called electrolisys where they use a small needle and kill the hair root then pluck out the hairs one by one.

None that I know of really work and the primary concern of many of the topical cremes is that they will actually clog the pores preventing the hairs to grow naturally. You could end up with a serious problem with in-grown hairs in this case, which if you have never had one can put the worst zit you've ever had to shame when it comes to pain and then you risk having a scar form. I recommend sticking with waxing especially if you're talking about facial hair...other than that buy stock in Gilette and shave, shave, shave.

never tried it, but there is a question that constantly intrigues me: if the results of the hair re-growth products r so fantastic, y don't doctors prescribe them???

im sure they r 90% blah and 10% some shady chemical.
