I met someone really nice online. Everything we "talked" about was perfect and we seemed to match eachother well but when we spoke for the first time, I couldn't get past this person's voice. It did not sound as intelligent or commanding as the chats we had. Is it wrong to wonder if someone is still perfect for you because of something like this?

Please meet him , interact with him , well ... i suppose until you donot see him face to face and wont give time to this relationship , it is difficult to say .. Talk to him for some more time .. as long as your ideas and understanding match , factors like voice wouldnt help in any way in enhancing your relationship..

Another thing , since you met him online , please meet him and talk to him .. And then decide for your self . .and dont pass judgements based on impulses , please ! It is different chatting online as well as on phone or meeting , so understand that fact , go ahead and make arrangements to meet him and then .. make that decision to be there together !

All the very best !

I think you can. I've been with my boyfriend for over 5 years and his voice really irritaed me when we first started dating. It can be such a monotone at times. And he has this habit of telling these long winded stories that take forever to go anywhere... but I don't let it bother me anymore. I just tune out, or laugh at him (not in a mean way though).

Probably not. If it bothers you, you will obsess about it night and day thinking about it. Remember the Seinfeld episodes with the girl with the "man hands"? He was always ruining potential relationships by focusing on one body part or habit. He would obsess over it until it just became impossible to stand.

It was a comedy, but all comedies are based loosely on actual experiences or they wouldn't be funny.

It is rare that you like everything about a person, that would be perfect and we all know life is not perfect, so do you really like her or not, her voice should not matter that much, it could be worse she could pick her nose or something equally disgusting.

real true love means it comes from the bottom of your heart, where it does not matter what the person looks like sounds like or where they come from. If you really love some one, none of this will matter. So yes you can love someone no matter what thier voice sounds like.

is it just because its not what your were expecting, or does their voice REALLY bug. give it a chance, but if the voice still bugs after a couple of weeks, you probably wont ever get over it, it will just get worse.

if you love someone, you love her as a whole person, not just the voice or looks.

You have to see the person to find out.
