The meaning of words really changes over periods of time -- the connotation of them changes anyway. What being queer USED to mean, back sixty years ago was homosexual. People didn't want to use that word. Now queer might mean most any condition a little out of the accepted and out of the ordinary.

it is the spot, between two worlds, and he really knows neither. he's giving in to his sexual desires to bond, but has know control at the level that sex, present to have any of the other function working that are of any value in what drives him. as he chooses to be more than just him self he want to be with some one when he's have his desires and needs to be with some one. i had a friend (she) that was a well educated rich artist engineer degrees and was really shock when it had not occurred to her once when we were discussing People that were once together as friends that so and so was queer and to this i said i know how much he loved this person far more than skin stuff and she was long time Friend and analyzed that and said she had never ever thought of it that way and she then loved that friend again in her heart. guess i got lost there some where, but that people i knew once upon a time in the west

Queer is currently often used in reference to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex communities. Its usage is controversial and underwent substantial changes over the course of the 20th century. The term is still considered by some to be offensive and derisive, and by others simply as a re-appropriated term used to describe a sexual orientation and/or gender identity or gender expression that does not conform to heteronormative society.

Queer is still used to mean 'strange' or 'unusual' in many contexts, and in some areas its modern usage must clearly be indicated by the context for it to be understood with its newer meaning.

Queer actually means odd or weird, it has nothing to do with being gay.

Originally, it just meant to be odd or different than the majority. It then evolved as a slang term used to identify homosexuals.

Psychological nothing since being gay or lesbian falls well within the bell curve of human sexuality.

Ever heard of a dictionary?

It means STRANGE or ABNORMAL. There is no meaning that relates to homosexual content. It is used for homosexuals because they are considered to be STRANGE or ABNORMAL.
