My passport just expired and I need to renew. But the expired passport I got when I was a permanent resident of the U.S. Now I have my citizenship Therefore the passport will look different. Can I still renew the passport normaly or do I have to do something different since my Legal status changed? (resident--->citizen)?

If renewing your passport from a different country then just send the passport and paperwork to where you would have sent it if you were still a resident of that country. To get a U.S. passport you need to take your Certificate of Naturalization and the paperwork to any US Post Office. I believe it still costs $100.00.

You haven't said what nationality passport you're talking about. You didn't have a US passport before, because you weren't a citizen. If you are going to apply for a passport in your original citizenship, you need to talk with that embassy.
