because the government refuses to listen to the people fighting it. They always want to be politically correct and in war there is no political correctness. You can't win a war fighting by rules that the other side won't obey. We never said we had a smart government we just say we get to vote for the least dumbest of the group.
When they let the generals fight it the way it needs to be fought we will win again. also we are no longer fighting a conventional war and the US is only set up to fight conventional wars. No one will ever win a guerrilla war with convectional tactics. To win a war you have to have a concept of war and Bush has no concept of anything but greedy and his own place in history.

there is no real winners or losers in a war, & it has nothing to do with a competition, It is what they are fighting for that matters in a war. Over seas they fight americans because they are jealous of our freedom & our ways, & we fight because we want to remain free, & because you just don't mess with us & think that you wont get your asSes kicked....Tobby Keith said it best when he said that we'll put a boot in your AssS, it's the american way...... I think that if you would bother to read in history books, there was a war or 2 not lost by us, but gave us our freedom, & everything that we believe in....
