For a first date something fun and relaxing like a pizza place. Avoid stuffy formal places or places with messy food like bbq ribs. That way you aren't preoccupied with not making a fool of yourself.

Depends on level of friendship we have. If we knew each other for long time and this the first time you ask me out, I will let you prepare according to your liking. Since we knew each other well, for sure no matter where the place is we will both enjoy and have fun. Other wise, I won’t go with you if I don’t like you. (lols!)
On the other hand if we just met and ask me out soon, I would prefer to go for a fine dining restaurant. And thru there, I can observe you if you are good to me or not. (lols!)

Italian for sure, it's sexy. Mexican is cheesy, and chinese is gross. All others are just plain!
