Is there not some sort of criteria for who needs a prayer? Surely there is a better way of making this decision than Yahoo Answers chat.

Aren't you concerned that you are waisting your prayers, and maybe your God gets a bit annoyed by how many pointless requests for forgiveness, blessings etc. he gets in his intray?Maybe your god thinks you are trivialising your religion.

If you are not already, maybe you should become some sort of priest or nun (insert whatever religious figure you find to be important). That way you could have some real people to pray for, instead of a bunch people spouting off all sorts of bizzare opinions.

I'm sure you are a very nice person, but you really must find something better to do with your time. Otherwise you will end up handing out plastic poppies in some shopping mall in Texas.

Ohhhh..... I can fell the prayers drilling into the back of my head already!

Good luck with the prayer business.

Raoul

PS. Can you pray for my cat? I think she has some sort of mental illness.

Just the fact that you care enough to do so is sweet. Thank you.

Even if some are skeptical, I believe prayer does change things but you also have to have faith in order for things to change, as well as have a desire to work on the bad things in your life.

2 + 2 is always 4 unless you change the variable. Same goes for our lives.

Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but never gets you anywhere!

My favorite verse is Matt 6:34 (NIV) Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own

As far as prayer requests that God will give strength to withstand the stress I m dealing with now. (Read my 360 pg to find out)

That's really cool. I have only come to this site hoping that I might be of help to maybe just one person who needs help or encouragement and just look what you went and did. You encouraged me. Now that was an unexpected gift. BLESS YOUR LITTLE PEA PICKIN HEART as Tennessee Ernie Ford would have said. Sorry but if you're not at least 40 years old you probably don't know who Tennessee Ernie Ford was.

Thank-you, what a great gesture. You represent the "power of one." Good will such as this can touch the hardest of hearts, just knowing there are people such as yourself. The climbing of mountains starts by taking that first step. Never underestimate what a genuine smile, an ear for listening, a prayer, or any good deed, can do. Obviously you already know..............Thanks for caring.

Often I do the same for all the members at this great Yahoo/ forum; though none is introduced by name, by affiliation, by nationality.
The way my prayer is answered? When some members write to me emails directly. And out of them I find friends with likemindedness.

How about praying for the extermination of the religious fundamentalist bigots (People like Osama Bin Liner) so we might get a bit of peace.

Oh yes, how about followers of false gods? That way, everybody can blame somebody else.

Hi,
That was from the heart.
Genuine, and I am very grateful.
You have blessed me and others deeply tonight.
The thing is, we all need encouragement and the next person.
Godbless you, and keep walking in the spirit of truth.

What a lovely gesture, thank you for your prayers!

Pray for government leaders and the protection of our troops.

Thanks Kindness, I really appreciate that.

Would you pray for me to have wisdom, direction, and understanding on a difficult project I'm currently working?

Is that too self-serving? If so, just pray for everyone to have peace in their lives...I'll join ya!!

I'm asking this 8 hours later, but please pray that my husband starts telling me the truth, he had an affair and i keep finding little proofs that they are still contacting each other. He fell away from church too, surprise, and doesn't feel like repenting.
