the small memory cards for the digital cameras use what type memory to store the pics? can they be re-used by erasing or re-recording?

Different cameras uses different types of cards, so it's best to check the owner's manual to see which type and size you can use in your camera.

Yes, they can be re-used. Depending on the features of the camera, you can usually delete the picures one at a time or all at once. Depending on the software you are using to download the pictures to your computer, you might even be given the oppertunity to delete the pictures from your camera after the download is complete.

I have that option that came with both digital cameras that I own, and one is a Canon and the other is an Olympus.

I would say they probably use a form of random access memory. They can be erased and re-recorded.

They are known as memory sticks and come in various capacities and shapes.

yes you can erase and as far as how it is stored on the card it is something you will need to look at in the guide for the camera. I have one that can store it several different ways, you will need to see how your camera writes it to the card.

not sure what type of memory, but you sure can erase the pics on it. I've done it on our digital many times !

They can be used over and over again. That's what I do. Fill the card, then load them onto my computer. Back them up on a storage drive, then delete the pics and start over.

if you delete the pic you can reuse the memory....or you can buy another memory card with a bigger memory....a 512mb card should be heaps big enough

take the photos and throw the camera over a cliff....... it worked with mine.....

............... you take pictures ....... put them on a CD or print them ............... erase the pictures on card and ........ reuse as many times as you want ................
