what are the rules for this phoneme.. I would like to hear how do you pronounce words like thief.. and the plural thieves.. with,thing,think,thick,then,thousand,thin,plzzz I hope you could give me a website where I can find these pronunciations.. thanks

They all have the same sound - it is similar to how the Castilian 's' is pronounced, like a lisp. You put your tongue out partway, place your top teeth just behind the tip, and pull the tip in and down.

Th is pronounced with the tongue hugging front top teeth. Unfortunately the rules as with most languages sometimes change. Steven Pinker among others is big on this one.Try reading his books and checking out the site http://pinker.wjh.harvard.edu/ as a starter.

I cannot give you a website, but to make the sound, put the tip of your tongue just under your two front teeth (you can lightly bite it if you want), and try to make the "f" sound while pulling your tongue back.
