Saw the S60R review recently. It is a gorgeous car. It is a 4WD executive turbocharged monster with the excellent 4C suspension system. Stock condition 300BHP. Is there any aftermarket tuning potential for this car? It's aftermarket parts seems very limited.

It is indeed a gorgeous car. I have driven the S60 but not the R.

Plenty of performance tuning available.

ipdusa which specialises in aftermarket parts for Volvo and Subaru, offers an ME7 ecu upgrade which will add about 10% to stock BHP without sacrificing too much economy. Best thing is it is a software flash as opposed to hardwired chipping.

If you are in the UK, volvotuninguk has RICA ecu upgrades available

Then Eurosport offers an ecu upgrade from BSR, this flash can be done via the OBD-II port located beneath the dashboard.

I own a 2006 V70 R - same car with a different body; got it up to 245 KPH (152 MPH) on the A7 in Germany, too!

There are aftermarket parts that will punch the HP north of 400. If you're in North America check out www.ipdusa.com and if you're in Europe check out www.tme.com. If you're truly interested in the products sold by either company you'll need to call them to get the full panoply of what they have on offer - their websites do not show all of the products they sell.
