Your husband is selfish in not wanting to provide for his family. You didn't say whether or not you have children and if you have a job also. Although that doesn't really matter!! When you are married, it's "what's mine is yours and what's yours is mine" and it should be both giving 100% to make your marriage work. Is he abusive?? If so, then you need to get out and get out now!! If there is not any abuse then you two need some counseling. Your pastor if you have one would be the best person to go too. He not only would have your martial needs to help you with, but also your spiritual needs!! Good luck and God bless your whole family!!!

Oh you poor lady! He sounds very selfish... If there are no children you should ask him to stop and if he doesn't perhaps you should think about being available for someone who treats you with respect. Actually, even if there are children you should consider it, it just makes it more difficult.
This issue is not just about money - it's about respect. I'm not saying leave him, just make him more aware of how you're feeling. Every relationship deserves the people in it to try thier best.

Your husband could possibly have another family.. I have never heard of anything so ludicrous in my life.. Family is family and he needs to support his family.. You may consider leaving his ask me no more questions, because there is a big difference in being Stingy and Frugal, and he is plain old selfish, stingy, inconsiderate, and just plain old sorry!!! You and your children deserve better ..If he won't give it to you voluntarily divorce him and take him to court and get it involuntarily !!!!

my dad was like that before.. but after when he got sick and was sent to the hospital..he has changed...i think, u gotta talk to your husband bout it.. ya know, it takes two to tango.. the two of you are responsible with regards to financial aspects and others... talk to him.. tell him bout it.. maybe, he'd be able to think about it and change eventually..
