if i have an old driverlicensed do is till have to show a birthcertificate?

i lost my drivers lic but if i found my old one would they still asked for a birth certificate to get my new one

No I think you have to have a dmv printout that you are getting a replacement drivers license they won't accept an older expired one with a birth certificate. So I would just go to the dmv and get a replacement one regardless soon as you can.
