Usually its not nice to throw your self at a guy,this makes you appear less in value,be less in respectability,be you and do what is important to you,he is doing what is important for him.don't you see that?

You cannot MAKE anyone like you. Find someone else. If they split, then you are free to ask him out, but keep the negative comments about the other girl to yourself! Nobody wants to hear that a girl you liked is a "jerky girl"!
