i like him....but i have a feeling that his siblings will tag along. what message does this send for him to ask me to come over?

Well he is inviting you to come over. Maybe its not a date, but it shows interest. He obvioulsy wants you to come hang out with his family. If he is willing to risk embarassment from his family to invite you over then his must be interested. Take the invitation and see where things go.
