Harassment case will form part of the employee's file in the company and could be traced if applying in other companies for record purposes and background investigation.

More and more companies hire background checks on prospective employees these days. Some companies will look past a record, especially if the offense was a long time ago. It could look bad on you as an employer may think you are confrontational and would cause problems with other employees. It's hard to say if and how it would affect your chances of being hired.

I am not certain what happens (I have not been in that situation), but depending on who you work for, the internal operations people should handle it (they do not tell you what they did to solve the problem, but sometimes it is counseling, time off without pay, etc.). I know my ex actually had a suit filed against him and he may have had to pay some money. In the end, you can lose your job and no one may want to hire you.
Sexual harrassment policies are available -- take a look at them. If you work (worked?) for a large company or government -- the policy may be available online.

It depends on the what the job is and the type of harrasssment. You can assume info sharing if it is a critical job of any sort, and sexual harrassment is the most likely hot button nowadays. but records are forever depending on how hard they want to look. It would not matter much for a fry cook position.

It affects your jobs and housing. If a restraining order it is good only for a while. But it is part of your record for life.

Enemy of the State....watch that movie....your every move is traced, scrutinized, and reviewed later...
Better yet, read 1984...
Better yet, try to get another civil service job AFTER you file a claim.

No
Just filing does not make you guilty.
If you get found guilty, then more then likely it will be a misdemeanor and no one will care...
Good Luck!
