Some MF'ers picked a best answer that was BS so i'll rephrase... Truely knowledgeable people of science believe in a higher intelligence, how else could they continually search for new knowledge. Truely religous people believe there is a point to Life, and value no life over other life. My faith is in both of these and therefor my belief is that GOD is the Intelligence that was before Life as we know it and shall be there after. The Infinite Intelligence, if you will. What say you Athiest? What say you 'Christian? Ethical Fundamentalist? Do I have the Idea of GOD figured, can EVERYONE move on to something else? or would That call for too much faith?

That made no sense. I am a person of science but I do not believe in a higher intelligence in the context that you are putting it. I believe that there are many people that have higher intelligence than I do but I don't believe there is some mystical force of higher intelligence. This I do know, you intelligence leaves a lot to be desired.

Why does the search for scientific knowledge require belief in a 'higher intelligence'. You sorta skip over that bit.

As a Christian, I disagree with your answer because God is too awesome to relegate into terms. He is too great to understand through your own limited wisdom. He can only be known by what He chooses to reveal. Jehovah cannot be condensed into some pseudo-Freudian definition.
