People have become more apathetic, more suspicious, more tricky... because they ignore the divine teachings about truthfulness and about selfless love.
If we are obediently truthful, we will not tell lies which is the cause of regretful suspicion throughout the world.
If we love selflessly, we will approach all people with compassion and forgive all their tricks.
How can we expect the world to change, if each one of us refuses to seek from Holy Books the irrefutable reason why we should be truthful and loving.

Because the neighbor's got Attitude! People want to accomplish things themselves, they want to get the credit for overcoming their problems. They don't want me all up in their face with my pity party. My neighbors are into martial arts, you better believe that I would avoid them. I make sure that they know I'm here if they want moral support, don't have much else. But I've got a whole lot of pull with the Man upstairs, though I'm usually polite enough to ask people if I can pray for them before I do it.

Why are some people so self hating that they refuse to accept the reality that some cultural views are so extremly violent that there is not nice way to resolve differences?
