Yes. There is a new rule for the credit reporting agencies that they have to give one free credit report to its consumer per year.
The 3 major credit reporting agencies are:
Equifax
Experian
TransUnion
You can either write to each one or you can visit their web to get your report; you can save the report if you want or you can print it out.

the closest thing to a free report is to apply for credit and then they have to send you a copy of this from the place it was obtained from.free credit report will ask for a credit card number.you will be charged a fee to join plus you will also be charged for the so called free report.there are three major credit reporting agencies.

each credit firm is required to provide you with a free credit rteport each year if you request it. you can do it online, but be aware they sometimes want you to sign up for additional services you may not want and can not be required to take unlessa you want to. the credit report is still free. go to experion.com for one then you will also be told the names of the other two which i don't recall at trhis time.

Sure it's possible, although a lot of the time, somehow your information or the fact that you were looking for it might cause unwanted phone calls or emails from people trying to get you a mortgage or something.
