These are taxes from about I don't know 5 or six years ago for a business that my husband and I had and he put it under my name and then did not file at all the whole time about a year.

you mean on income for this year? You could do a turbo-tax thing. it fills out all your tax info and tells you what you owe/refund amount, but you have to do some final steps to submit it to the IRS, so you could do it on Turbotax and see what your status is without anyone else knowing about it (unless you electronically file it)

If you have never received a w-2 or 1099's, chances are pretty good that you do not owe taxes. If you have worked as a waitress and received cash in the form of tips, that is an exception and chances are that you do owe taxes for both income and social security.

If you did receive a w-2 or 1099's and did not file your income taxes, you may or may not owe taxes depending on your income and the amount withheld on your w-2. It could even be that you have a refund due from the IRS.

if you made over six hundred dollars in a given year, you should file an income tax form. filing does NOT mean you owe anything, but it can determine if you get anything back. you can buiy a number of different software tax programs to figure you taxes, but use an accountantr if you have a complicated situation and to get all the best breaks.

I file my taxes online at www.turbotax.com every year.

You can pay the fee, I think $39.99, do your taxes online then find out if you have to pay or get money back. Note, they don't file them with the IRS until you click the send button.... but it will still cost $39.99 or so to find out if you owe.

You could be arrested by Interpol and deported to the United States of America.

I strongly suggest you to file your taxes today.
