I'm in a long-distance relationship, and I have cheated on my bf before. I think he cheats on me too, yet we still are together? It's been 5 years and we're best friends too...what do you think is going to happen? Neither of us is really that hurt right now although I think it's because I hurt him a lot previously, so he's used to it.

Yet he still wants to get married and live with me after I graduate from college....he;s the one pushing for marriage. What's up with this situation?

I mean, honestly, we're total best friends. Except sometimes I feel like we're like kids when we're together. We act like kids, not sure if it's a good thing. (We're in our early 20s.)

i dont know how can you cheat on someone you love...oh do you love him by the way? i guess if you love each other, you both should change first, be more honest and respectful with each other...then get married and stop cheating...but i doubt it will work, i think its just a habit for both of you to still be together..

It could be that you both love each other, but five years apart is difficult. People have strong physical desires that can't be satisfied so well long distance. When you are together more often you might both be able to be faithful. But you should think about what you want to happen and what will happen if you two get married and work or family or some twist of fate separates you two for awhile. How long can you stand to go without? Will it bother you or him more if one of you cheats after you are married?

ok first of all u have to live in the same city a while before u get married because u are used to only seeing him once in a while, and cheating on him, and vice versa... u should settle in someplace near him after u graduate, and if this are stable and healthy, and if u love each other.. marry him!! and the kid thing-thats great... u have the same attitud and if u kid around thats just a great part of ur relationship... assuming u are mature at the appropriate times??

you are still young! you need to "play the field" it is not really cheating if you both know about it and are consenting. i think you guys are more friends with long distance benefits. you need to have fun in college! goof off! have fun!! but when it is time to grow up and settle down, then do so. if you want to be in a committed relationship later when you are together, at least you know what else is out there. you won't be in your marriage 10 years later saying.....hmmmm i wonder what would have happened if. you are young !!! have fun and be young!!!! wait to grow up until you have to!!!!

both of u are just using each other for companionship...and nothing more...if u get married, you will only treat each other as gud friends...if both of u love each other so much, you would have confronted when you found out that your partner is cheating on you...you would have also taken the trouble to know where it went wrong and how to fix it and stop the cheating...try talking to each other and ask yourself twice...is this what you really want? is this what he really wishes for? both of u need time to sort things out...

how do you know he is cheating on you??? does that ease your conscious.???? What if you are wrong and he truly loves you and would never cheat on you.? Does he deserve a spouse who has been cheating on him for 5 years before you two get married??
