that many of the non-believers have avatars that are either of sex, devil, demons, and other sick pictures?

I think it's interesting that many believers here see themselves with higher esteem or more self respect and aren't using avatars to gain attention from others. Non-believers use avatars that resemble hate, anger, sex, evil etc. Just a thought.

(I know the non-believers will bash me for this one but it's just a personal observation. I am putting it out there for others to think about. So calm down. I am not saying non-believers are evil or angry or full of hate. I am just wondering why the ill avatars?)

maybe the avatars that believers use are to try and emit a better picture of themselves than they really are, because they have no self-esteem, which is true about most believers.

and, maybe your own hatred is showing again, and your own lack of self-esteem. wow, what a concept!!

did posting this question make you feel better about yourself, and legitimize your hatred for others? is this how jesus wants you to behave? i guess you are another false christian, using his name to spread hate.

I've also thought so, and tried hard not to generalize. I think people who want to show an aggressive edge are in deeper need of care and attention. There are rules of conduit on this site, so I think that any honest question (or answer, for that matter) posted without breaking the rules deserves our full attention. Or even an extra share of it.

Those non-believers (euphemism for atheist?) do so in order to annoy those sensitive pansies that believe in such nonsensical things as devils, demons and "other sick pictures."

I know the "believers" will bash me for this comment but it's also my personal observation, too. By the way... just curious, really... HOW do you KNOW what a devil or demon or other sick pictures LOOK like? As far as I know, those could just be descriptions turned into images of mythological characters... like gorgons, griffins, unicorns, dragons...Perhaps you're reading a little too much into what really ain't there? I am just wondering why the curiosity, why the need to dig into matters that are harmless to begin with...? I've never seen a real devil or demon or any "sick" pictures... but I have seen cadavers of children and people mutilated by bombs and the effects of wars, bullets, and man's inhumanity to others... (you ARE aware that more wars have been fought throughout the history of mankind for the sake of religions by BELIEVERS... don't you?)

Here's another observation: those in favor or wars are usually not the ones that put on a uniform to go fight in it but are the ones that send the children of others, usually the poorer ones in our society and fill their heads with all sorts of slogans and propaganda... but they neither send their own children or put on a uniform to go fight that war they promote! Why is that? How come they would rather use their religion to hide behind but would send other people's children so they can enjoy the fruits of this nation's greatness at the expense of all those that die in battle? OR, they claim to be "Pro-Life" but promote capital punishment where innocent people might be executioned...? OR they're against abortions but won't go out and adopt one single child that is put up for adoption? I'm just curious... that's all (and you WORRY about avatars?)

i don't personally understand why so many ppl come onto this section on the site and bash each other. isn't this where you should try to win ppl over to each other's religion? God says not to judge but to love everyone for who they are. He's the only person with the right to judge. instead of pointing out the bad things others do, why not try to point out the good in them and maybe it wouldn't be so hard for us Christians as a whole to win ppl aver for Christ.
