As with any tattoo, my suggestion is that you make sure the design is something you can live with forever.
Some Native Americans (and other cultures) display a bond between the Sun and Moon. The sun is usually masculine and the moon usually feminine. There are numerous formal sets of opposites that go together in Chinese and Asian iconography. The I Ching displays numerous sets in the hexagrams they use.
Asian/Chinese astrology holds a nice set of possibilities. Unless you were born in either the same year or 12 years apart, you will each have different animal signs. you can then each put the other's animal on you.
It's a great idea. good luck.

Have wedding bands tattooed onto your left ring fingers! I've seen it a couple of times. It's pretty neat looking. Just stay away from the hearts, they are so over done. Other than that, find something that you both have a strong interest in (other than each other that is). Get something that is related to that interest.

Well it's been said but, think of the things you and your husband really enjoy doing together and go from there. Me and one of my very best friends are getting doughnuts, yes doughnuts tattooed. Silly and weird yes, but it has special meaning to us. So maybe something completely off the wall, that noone else will really understand, and it can be between you and hour husband.

I have been thinking about that with my husband as well. I was thinking about getting the word AMATE, which means love in latin. Latin is the root of our language, and I found a really coll design for the word. You have to choose something that is really meaningful to the both of you! Good luck figuring it out !

You should both get big red stars on your bellies, like the Start-Bellied Sneeches from Dr. Seuss!
You would definitely match, and be two of a kind, but then everyone would think you're communists. No that there's anything wrong with that. But maybe you're just not. You know?

Find something that means something to the both of you. Really the possibilities are endless. I have friends who have copies of their wedding rings interlinked with their names inside them with their wedding date, just like their real rings have.

Put something small . not so big. make it so that it'll work for both of you. it takes time to think about a tatoo because well, you can't really take it off. so just think about it.
