If all the wildlife were to die what would we eat? That is why we have game management.

Awsome question, yes saving wildlife, means saving humankind, we depend on the wildlife for survival and the wildlife depends on the plants that produces oxygen for us, it is an unbreakable chain. Honestly I think that a large portion of our tax money should be going towards that, instead of going into the politicians pockets. Once a certain species become extinct, it affects our environment in countless ways, making them having to spend even more money to try to correct the damages that were done. We need to start making smart voting decisions based on environmental friendly politicians, they are very scarce, but our right of freedom of speech, should be able to get us there that is if we voice it loud enough. Our education system sucks, the school board should make more selective decision on what they decide to teach our children, because most of them are unaware of all of the environmental issues that we are facing. There is a high level of ignorance in our nation, and only a small percentage are aware of the needs of our biosystem, just take a look at the answers posted on certain section of answers, and one will realize the level of ignorance of our nation, if this level of ignorance persists we will be an extinct species in no time, in our days where no one needs to go outdoors because we have all sort of intertainment indoors, we will never be able to be in one with nature to hear its cry.

Learning to live with and care for the balance of the earth is essential to our own survival. If we throw the ecosystem out of whack, we will set into motion a whole course of events that make global warming look like just a hot flash for mother nature.

Think of the plant life that is dependent on the wildlife. We are dependent on those plants for oxygen, food, shelter, etc.

If we can't care for the creatures God put in our charge, how can we care for ourselves in the long run? Where would we stop when it came to the next thing or being or race to destroy?

Yes, my friend, we must save the animals to save the earth and thus ourselves. Kudos to you.

Wildlife and people are all part of the ecology. Earth is a biosystem that works a certain way. Kill wildlife and we kill ourselves, ergo save it and we save us.
