I painted mine a Benjamin Moore color called "nacho cheese". I used spicey autumn reds and browns for accenting with towels and accessories. Add some candles and baskets and you have a warm, homey feeling that's very nice.

Go to the store and look at the bath towel sets (hand and face - since it's smaller bath and you didn't say if there's a shower) and see if there's a pattern or a color combo that you are just struck by. Pull your colors from there. Any color can be considered a neutral color - a neutral color in someones house is the color in which they start with. I would go with a deep red paint(a gallon,) and pore it into a bucket. Into that bucket I would add a pint of gold (true gold, metallic) and stir well. What this does is give the red a depth that is just amazing. It also allows for golds, yellows, burnt ornges and other autumn like colors to be used for the accents. It really is a warm (not hot) affect. Have fun with it - it's just paint.

It really depends on a lot of things: where is the room? If it's in the north part of the house, go with a warm color. If it's in the south part of the house, go with a cooler color.

The really hot colors right now for bathrooms are chocolate brown, turquoise blue and a funky pink that's almost a creamy cranberry. Don't be afraid to go with a darker color just because it's a smaller room. Dark colors can look great in small rooms.

What I do suggest is you take one object that you really like. It could be a shower curtain, towels, a painting, etc. Choose a color in that object and use it. Be a bit bold, use a color you'd love to paint but wouldn't dare before... dare to do it, because paint is cheap and easy to change if you really don't like it.

Chocolate brown looks really great with turquoise and white accent colors. Accent colors can be with paint or you can use paint and a decorating object. The main thing to remember is this: life is short, live it to the fullest and that does mean taking chances... go for it! Choose a color you love and the rest will follow.

go to a home depot (or lowe's) or even wal*mart and look at the paint samples....mainly earth tones are very warm and cozy feeling....reds...browns....oranges...yellows....things like that ....but don't use to many dark colors if the room is small it can seem like you are suffocating and not warm...or do 3 walls bright yellow or something like that (tan or chocolate milk color) and do some orange or red color....very nice....accessories also help warm up a room....just pick some colors that you like and get a small containter and paint a spot in the room and see what it looks like in the light...things look different in the store...good luck!

I would do a light yellow base and a deeper yellow rag method over it... it would be beautiful...just be sure and get the two colors that would look good together, no too drastic....and use a rag roller it makes it so much easier to do than by hand....looks great I just done it with purples...beautiful....good luck

Whatever you do, be sure that you don't have several colors going on at the same time in your house. Colors should move throughout the main floor of your house. Same color scheme throughout.

Pail yellow walls with a light cornflower blue trim. Accesorize with the same theme.

the best "warm" colors are darker colors. but not too dark, dont over due it. like a coffee color, or a darker creme color. they work best.
