You've got my prayer!
God bless Crono, he means well. This is something big that could effect the rest of your life, it is definately worthy of prayer. Besides, God's your Dad, you can ask Him for anything that is on your heart. (He's been saving great parking spots for me for years, sure it's trivial to some people, but I just Love it when He does that!) You would ask your parent to pick up your favorite icecream wouldn't you, that's pretty trivial? Your Heavenly Father can go back in time and spend every moment of your life with you, then go back in time again and arrange all the little things to happen that would spice up your life, then go back again and fight off the enemy that wants to mess it up for you. God really does love you that much and a whole lot more. Don't forget, there could be things that you would enjoy more (and just don't know it yet) and football could mess that up at some future time. I'm praying that what ever the plan is, that it will go smoothly, without the enemy messing things up.

"Father, may this young man be blessed to do his best, and to succeed if it is Thy will, and if not, that he may live with what decision Thou hast made."
...Or something like that. Notice that I didn't say for you to succeed unconditionally, for the Lord's will may be quite different from your own, especially in secular things, which do not relate to Him, even more especially in competitive things, where not everyone can win. After all, suppose everyone does that. Whom does the Lord bless? Is it whoever prays the hardest? Or what? Something to think about there.
Amen.

AJ, I will pray for you.
I will pray that God will put you in the best place for you, and that you will make yourself available for Him to use you in a powerful way.
If it is His will for you to make the team, you will, through your own hard work and practice, as well as through the prayers of Christians (like these online) who love you. And, if you do make the team, don't forget to give Him the glory.
I will pray that, as you grow, you will give your skills, athletic and otherwise, to God, to use as He sees fit, to further His kingdom.
May you grow in grace and in favor with God and man.
Good luck to you, AJ, and may God bless you abundantly!!

I will pray that GODS will be done for you. Just remember he does not answer all prayers in the time we want. Only when it is best for us. So if you do not make it don't be upset. Just know he must have a better plan for you. GOD BLESS :o)

The Best prayer is by yourself. Sit comfortably in a quiet corner and communicate with the Lord. Sooner rather than later He will answer you so be observant in your daily life

Yeah, I just prayed for you, good luck! They say the more people praying for something, the more positive energy there is that can help them, something like that.

God's not a genie. I'll pray that you will be saved, but it would be foolish to ask God for something as inconsequential or selfish as you making the football team. Prayer isn't something to do just whenever you need something- it's communicating with God, and should be focused mainly on Him, not you. If you focus prayer on Him, you will realize that God is in control of everything, and all things will work to good for those who love God and keep His commandments. God is holy, and I wouldn't and shouldn't approach Him with things that are of my will; concerns and needs, yes, but not just stuff I want. Besides, you don't know if, in the long run, making the team would be good for you. You can't see the positive or negative consequences it may have, only God can.
