What are ways to fade or even maybe make them dissapear? I absoloutly hate the stretch marks I have on the upper part of my legs and the inside of my thighs! I got them about a year and a half ago and can't even wear a bathing suit in front of my friends that I have know for almost my entire life!! They are just too embarassing and I just want them to go away, Are there any things that would help me? I don't have much to work with but I would like to hear some ideas please.

They are still kind of pink and I was also wondering if a lotion with cocoa butter in it would help?

Stretch marks are a part of life, a LOT of people have them, even super-skinny people do. They occur when the skin is stretched out faster than it can grow naturally on it's own. Cocoa butter and vitamin E can reduce the overall appearance of stretch marks and soften the skin, but it will not make it go away. Surgery is the only guaranteed way of getting rid of stretch marks, despite what various overpriced creams claim they can do. On contrary to popular belief, stretch marks "can" be tanned over to a degree. Every person is different, so see if self tanners will do it for you. But in conclusion, I would recommend using ultra moisturizing creams to lessen their appearance. If they are so bad that you cannot go one day without thinking about them, I would suggest talking to a cosmetic surgeon and see what your other options may be. I hope this will help you, and just remember, beauty is not measured by the outside even though the media is pressuring the thought in that direction. Your stretch marks will not bother anyone but you, so once you become happy with who you are with all your small imperfections, then those marks will become the last thought in your mind!

Take vitamin E by mouth daily and use vitamin E oil along with cocoa butter daily to help lessen the effects of the stretch marks.Plus the massaging technic used to apply the oils and lotions is theraputic and helps stimulate blood flow to the areas that need it most.Check w*Ur Doctor first though before taking medicine especially if U are already taking something.

Cocoa butter, though it would work best if you applied it while the stretch marks were forming. It'll still help to fade the stretch marks quite a bit. You could also look into Mederma, it's a fade cream for scars that you can purchase at any drugstore.

sorry to tell you this, but stretch marks don't just "go away"
once you get them you've got em. The only thing is that they will eventually fade over time.
the more weight you gain the more your skin stretchs and your skin doesn't have enough elasticity. (drinking lots of water will help prevent them and make your skin more ply-able)

you could use creams, but they are not guaranteed to work. However, if you tan your skin, they hardly show up, but they are still there.

good luck!

They have this product called Mederma for stretch marks, and it works wonders. I am a mother of two and believe me I know. Also, try Palmers cocoa butter because it works if it is use correctly. You have to use it everyday though for excellent results.

My doctor told me no.It is the elasticity in your skin. There are not any creams or anything to help. My mom had 12 kids and does not have ONE. I looked like a road map after my first child.
ONE THING THAT WORKS is: tanning. They don't show up as much.In fact hardly at all.
