I am a 16 year old teen trying to lose about 10-40 pounds. I cannot really do much physical activity, well because i am accident prone and recently injured myself, which i am going to Physcial Therpy for. I also have Graves Disease (hyperactive thyroid). What can I do? I have thought about stopping taking my medication for my disease because before i was treated i weighed 40 pounds less than what I do now. But I would feel horrible if i did that. What can I really do? I need every advice i can get. I prefer something that is free if there are any diet plans out there.

PLEASE HELP!

Water.
Eat the same as you do, but have one or two glasses of water before you eat your meal. It will fill you up and you won't want to eat as much as you have been.

And instead of eating junk foods....drink water and you won't eat as much of the junk food.

Best of luck to you.

You probably just need to find a better mix of foods that you can eat more of. Go to menshealth.com and you can find a lot of suggestions on good meals and a more balanced diet. However, it would probably be best if you talk to your doctor and see what he recommends you do with your medical condition and all.

Your best option would be to ask your doctor because your condition requires special treatment.
