God loves me because I am one of his children, and He also loves me inspite of all the mistakes that I make, because when he looks at me He sees not my mistakes but He sees the blood of His son Jesus and His righteousness covering me.

I absolutely believe that God loves who I am, after all he took the time to create me in his image. I came to earth trailing his glory. I am not perfect. God purposely made me with my imperfections so that he could gaze into my soul and thru his son's atoning sacrifice bring out his light in me and through me and help me to grow heaven wards. It is through understanding that he loves all of me, even my spots, that I learned to embrace my imperfections and use them to become a better person. Whoever you are, I hope that you will let God's love rain down upon you and help you to grow - no matter if you are already on your way, or if you are a little dirty. And once you know how loved you are, be sure to pass it along!

Both. He loves us immensely more than we can imagine for no other reason than because He made us, but He loves us despite the fact that we are totally depraved without Him. His grace and love just totally blow my mind. If He didn't love me and offer His grace to me at just the right time, I would've been dead 20 years ago.

God loves you because He created you. Because of His love, He has offered free choice to everyone He creates. His desire is for you to be with Him. "But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." How can you not love a Creator like that??

He loves me because He wants to, and in spite of how I act. I sure wish I was better, but "If wishes were horses beggars would ride on clouds of white stallions with bright firey eyes." So, I guess it wouldn't hurt if I started trying a bit more to be more like Christ. God Bless you.

Romans 5:8 says:

"But God commends his own love toward us, in that WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS, Christ died for us."

You see? God loves us in spite of our sin(s) and He made provision (a way of escape) from eternal punishment for our sins through His Son Jesus Christ so that we could know Him more and be with Him for all eternity.

God loves me for who I am. I am not perfect but I try to live as Christ would have lived. I sure am glad that God chose me to follow Him and I chose to follow Him.

Because who we are and despite of it. Christians, atheists, muslims, agnostics, hindus, buddhists, pagans....all of us. That is why He doesn't want anyone to choose to go to Hell. He wants us all to accept His offer of salvation.
