So, i really like this girl who i'm friends with. We tease each other incessantly, fight occasionally and yet i can't stop liking her. She acts as though she wants someone kind, and caring. Which i am to everyone but her. Whenever i try to compliment her, she shoots it down and/or puts herself down. Personally i think shes the most beautiful woman i've ever seen. (sorry if this seems all emotional and crap, i'm a senior and have had several gf's, i just cannot get over this girl) Any advice on how to win her over? Also, she found out i liked her during one of our fights, about a month ago but we both went away right after. Shes always saying she wants a boyfriend, but i just need advice to win over this fickle girl...

they say that when you keep hating agirl or you keep fighting and enjoy it, with no hard feelings-you would end up liking her! i guess its true!!! your story is cute! maybe you can just be frank, dont try to win her with materials.words between both of you had brought you this far.why dont you use your conversation to make the relationship fonder?

DStarr knows what he's talking about, or else he's repeating some very good advice he's heard from other sources. Women do the choosing. If she likes you enough, all you'd have to do to get into a relationship with her at this point is to ask her out. You might find this guy's advice column helpful:

dont' buy a ring...that's bad advice!!!! Ummm hmmm lets see how can I help you...Well you say she always puts herself down which tells me she's got low self esteem...Find out why..research and find out what asshole did that to her...You really like her??? Is she something special to you??? Ok, if so...Ask her out on a date...That's what adults do...Not the movies because you can't talk and get to know someone during a movie...Take her to a nice italian restaraunt...like olive garden or if you have some money to blow take her to a fancy place...Always remember actions speak louder than words..you've got to impress her to win her over...If she's really a hot babe she can probably get any guy she wants...secure your position before she is taken! Here is the ultimate secret I know, which I'm surprised most men don't know. Women do the choosing. You can't win her over. She has to like you for yourself and choose you to be her boyfriend.
It hurts our male ego, but it is fabulous advice if you think about it.
