Cash isn't insulting, is it?

I don't think newlyweds would be insulted with cash as it costs a grand price to throw any half decent wedding.

Depending on the couple of course, if you know they did it all themselves, that seems to be the norm these days, unless your daddy's rich of course, and footing the bill I bet they still would like cash.

It is difficult to buy gifts especially if the couple has lived together for a while they may have most of everything they need as it is.

No! Newlyweds are generally in debt after throwing a wedding, or they are looking forward to starting a nest egg together. It may sound greedy, I suppose, but I am hoping to get a good deal of money when I get married so my fiance and I can afford an apartment for two. If you can't think of anything for the couple, I can assure you that no one will be offended if you give cash!

Have you checked to see if they registered anywhere? If not, I would go with 4 plain white or cream colored towels, and 4 matching rags. Cash isn't insulting, but I would be more comfortable giving them a gift card. If you choose that option, be sure to buy a really nice card!

I always loved the cash gifts more than the actual gift gift idea. We could have used it a lot more than the picture frame or 2 glass vases we got. Go with cash.

Are they registered anywhere? If so, then you could pick out a nice gift that way. Money in a card with a nice note to the couple is also a wonderful gift and for most couples they could really use it. Have a good time!!

No cash is not insulting. It is usually a very welcomed gift.

for newly weds i would give something for the house symbolizing them living together now so buy a picture frame, or something they can use as decoration and no cash is not insulting but it's not appropriate either
