sometimes the most interesting conversations are with people who have a different point of view.
the secret is to not let it get you upset but to enjoy the interaction.
if approached with an open mind then both might learn something.

When scientist date dinosaur bones they do not usually date the actual bones. They often just use the accepted date of the surrounding soil. Recently they dated lava flows in New Zealand at 5 billion years old. The problem is that we know that the lava flows were actually formed in 1954. There is a big difference between 50 yrs and 5 billion yrs. OOOPS
Also scientist had universally accepted that the longest amount of time that any residue from soft tissue could possibly survive in a fossil was 100k yrs. Yet they have now found that there is soft tissue still remaining in the bones of a T-Rex. They went back and found the same thing in the bones of the famous "Sue" t- Rex also. I believe they also found it inside a sauropod, but I don't remember the exact species. At any rate that is 3 occurrences, which makes it more than a fluke.
Exactly how much do you know about how objects are dated? Could it be that you have blindly accepted this false information? Maybe you should learn to think for yourself.

And why can't you have such an intelligent conversation?
Who told you that dinosaurs went extinct 65mya? Scientists? Were they there? How did they conclude that? Have you heard of the existence of red blood cells and soft tissue found in T-Rex fossils? Explain that please.
Explain also the many stories of human encounters with "dragons" in Europe and other parts of the world. Explain why in the Chinese Zodiac all but the dragon are considered normal and ordinary animals. I think there is good reason to see that the dragon was also an ordinary animal that the ancient Chinese knew. Explain also the rock drawings found in the Grand Canyon and in Australia aboriginal areas that depict creatures that look very much like sauropod dinosaurs or plesiosaurs. Explain also the many sightings of strange animals like Loch Ness, Champ, Nessie, Mkole Mbembe, thunderbirds. A good case in point is the Coelacanth fish. What was supposed to have been extinct 65mya are found happily swimming in our oceans, unchanged!
And who told you humans evolved that long ago? Aren't you simply ASSUMING evolution to be true without proving it in the first place? It is the ASSUMPTION of evolution that leads you to conclude that dinosaurs never lived with man. It's a belief system that blinds you to contrary evidences that refutes evolutionary propaganda.

We believe in God. You believe in man and his faulty assumptive science. Get intelligent. You believe those inflated statistics because a scientist who is probably an atheist as well, told you it was the truth. We believe in God because He shows us the truth. Who is more intelligent? You trusting in an agenda driven, biased pseudo-science or believers trusting in a God that we know as truth because He lives within us.
In addition, there are human footprints many places where dinosaur footprints have been found. The same faulty dates are used for both sets. There are even examples that show a human foot print inside of a dinosaur footprint. You can explain this away anyway you want, but I've seen them. I live in a very dinosaur rich part of the country too. I've seen them.
Your quoting of absurd numbers as fact shows your gullibility.

1. People who think that are clearly not so bright.
2. That dumbness has probably been passed down through their generations and their ancestors were probably even dumber.
3. Dumb animals don't survive well.
4. If dinosaurs existed with people, these people's ancestors would have been eaten. Their existence today proves that dinosaurs did NOT exist alongside humans.
Or something like th at. ; )

'Never' is an absolute word. Where absolute words are used, there is usally fault.
How can you talk to someone that has a fixed point of view? Validate their argument. Any good arguer has to consider the other persons point of view.
I think what you can both agree on is that...
we haven't seen in the newspaper that human remains could be dated that far back YET. They'll love you are giving them the benefit of the doubt.
Say that it could happen, and maybe cite reasons why it could not, and they'll cite reasons it could. However, facts current show that the newspaper hasn't published it. This you can agree on. yes/no?

Well they did and they have fossilized prints of dinosaurs' foot
prints with a humans foot print within. They were found in a lakebed between Kansas, and Nevada. Sad but true.
As to facts and figures someone is definately pulling your leg.
The world has not existed millions of years.

Okay in college I was told that dating of the bones they found dated the dinobones earlier than the people bones. This isnt a religious debate, its a carbon dating of bones. and archelogy evidence.( I have had people tell me that the people didnt exist.. before a certian date inthe bible) but looking scientifically what are the scientific dating on the bones. In college I was told in biology and oceanographyand archeology ... 3 classes the same thing as what your saying .. My teacher rolled out a roll of towels .. and said people existed on the last three sheets. so I guess its how much you paid for your education as to what you believe. BUt hey according to the answers here 30 thousand dollars was wasted.

I'm pretty sure that they co-existed. I have it on good authority that the Flintstones was a fact-based sitcom and research shows that humans did use dinosaurs as household appliances. Sorry to disagree, but facts are facts. What I can't understand is why people think that elephants are real...

I've never had any sort of discussion with someone who thinks humans and dinosaurs existed at the same time. Thankfully I've never had to deal with that particular brand of willfull ignorance.
