what i or anyone else believes?
if your secure in your faith then why belittle, and condem everyone else's faith.
why can't you just leave those who don't believe as you do alone and live your life in peace and let us live ours.
this goes for everyone of every faith.

Well put.
Belittling the faith of another does no justice to the path one follows.
Visiting here has really opened my eyes as to how misunderstood my belief system really is. In the beginning I was amused, then I felt anger, then hurt, now I know on a whole new level how crucial it is to walk my talk.

Why do I care what other people believe? Because my country is basing national policy on the beliefs of those in power; beliefs which have no evidence. They are allowing the Bible to dicate the lives of people who don't believe that it's the word of some supernatural being who knows what's best for us. And my country was founded on secular values, which makes it all the worse. Leave my life alone and get your god out of my life, and we'll stop caring what the hell you believe in.

see my previous questions.
I agree.
except in politics. haha.
Really, I don't know why, but I think everyone has the right to believe anything they want. I can disagree and think they are ridiculous (mormons, scientology, jehovah's witness)... kidding. But... everyone does have that right, and that is okay, but I think they should be respectful to everyone. How come atheists are offended when there are church sayings... or crosses... if you dont believe that, that is okay. i just thought of my next question.... do atheists celebrate holidays? Christmas? I have so much curiosity tonight!

because my faith is strong i care. I do not condone belittling or condeming any person for any reason. but to leave a person to die would be to disobey God.

What are you talking about? This is Yahoo answers...people ask questions. People of various opinions and beliefs answer. If you don't want to deal with any answers that might rub you the wrong way....this is sort of the wrong place to hang out.

I think the reason is, at a core level, it has nothing to do with faith and everything to do with power.

Try word 3 in your question and you would be wrong. Been there, tried that, found this would be a better explanation for evangelical fervor,

If you saw someone about to step off a cliff...you'd probably warn them, right? That's why I try to invite as many people as I can to read the Bible and pray for understanding. If you truly give the Holy Spirit a chance He will fill your heart and your life.
I don't condemn...just inform!
