I think it depends on the health of the person at the start of the starvation. Someone who has practiced good nutrition and is well hydrated will last longer than someone who has poor nutrition and dehydrated to begin with. I'm gonna' guess 10-30 days w/o food, however 2-5 days w/o water can kill you especially in a harsh environment.

For an average person about two weeks as long as they have water. They'd only last about 3 days without water

if the activities still goes on normal, with no water supply available at all and with the sun of the desert, day 3 you'll be dead because of dehydration. But if you still supplied with water, day 7 you'll dead because of heart failure or brain damage. with no food at all your body can't support the energy needed. either it's your brain stop commanding the heart to beat, or you got a heart attack first than caused a brain damage. stop eating is the worst idea ever for dieting. if you re insist to dieat dat kind of way day 4 youll gonna ends up in one of hospital i.c.u's with tube in your throat, and catheter all over your body.

I'm not sure, I think it's six-nine days, but water is only like 2-3 days. I don't recommend it.
