Might_power7's right about the earth, but the more immediate problem is human mortality.

I think that medical technology can eventually get to the point where it is lengthening our life expectancies faster than we are aging, and ultimately bring us to the point where we have to be destroyed to be permanently killed. Will it get that far? Or will events and/or anti-scientific groups get in the way? I don't know. I do think that the generations alive today are tantalizingly close to being the first to cross the line from sure mortality to possible near-immortality. It's no sure thing, but if we stay as healthy as we can we can extend our lives and increase our chances. Once people achieve that, we can tackle the limited-earth problem, probably via emigration.

It is said in the bible that there will be a new heaven and a new earth so we will be on earth. It might be even an identical land mass from place to place. From what I thought from over the years we will be on a cloned earth.

On earth you have a physical body that dies, it's your non physical form that choses whether to stay here or move on. So you can live on earth forever, you just can't do it in your body.

Because after the fall of Adam and Eve as punishment our bodies were to deteriorate and age and know death. If they hadn't sinned we might've had eternal life now or not even born.
