My best friend Curtis told me he had a crush on me in gr.5 why would he be telling me this now? We are in high school now. And then when my other guy friend Mike comes shopping with us Curtis tries to but in on the convo him and I had. Then he tells Mike oh I had a crush on Steph back in gr.5. And hes been holding my hand and cuddling with me and puting his arm around me. And then he says "I know were not daiting but lets pretend we are". And then when I was going through my bad breakup Curtis tells me to shut up and get over him and I only talked to him about it once. What the heck. What do u think?

Curtis is very jealous of your involvement with other guys and wants you all to himself. When you talk about how hard your break up was with that other guy, he feels threatened and hurt because you don't feel anything more than just friendship towards him. He is telling every guy that you hang with about his 5th grade crush because that is his way of telling them, "Back off dude, she's mine!" So your decision is weather or not to tell him that you are interested in him for more than just friends. And it sounds like he just may not take no for an answer. It's either that or loose the friendship all together, because your never going to be able to hang with other guys as long as he is hanging around. It's kinda cute and creepy at the same time.

Sounds like he still has a crush on you and it's getting worse. He's showing you in the only way he can and hoping not to be rejected. You need to sit him down and talk to him and let him know how you feel about what he's doing. It also sounds like he's a little jealous of you having other males around you. Snap him out of it fast!
