Teleconference, or conference calling, is a technology that enables large numbers of people from different locations to connect with each other over the phone at a pre-arranged time. A more simple explanation would be is that a teleconference is a telephone or video meeting between participants in two or more locations.
Each partipant is given an access code and a number to call to be able to paticipate in the meeting. Some teleconference services are free, while others are not.
