Praying is simply communicating with God. You don't have to ask for anything. Just include him in your thoughts, decisions, plans, feelings and show appreciation for the channel he has given you.

God's word says to pray without ceasing. He says to cast His cares on Him, because He cares for you. Jesus told us to not be anxious, but to pray to God with thanksgiving. God says, commit all your ways to Him and He shall give you the desires of your heart.
These are merely five verses out of the entire bible. So you can imagine how many more will back up taking all things to God in prayer. But remember.....it's most important that we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness....and of course, His will.

There are prayer examples in the Bible -- they usually start with praising, worshipping and thanking God for things first, repenting our sins next, then asking a bunch of things last.

It's not disrespectful.
God knows what your needs and wants are before you do.
He likes for you to ask things of him.
But, remember, he also wants you to tell him things.
Such as, I love you, I need you. Tell him how your day was. Tell him the funny joke and the crazy gossip around the water cooler.
It's amazing the feelings you get when you start doing that.
MOST IMPORTANTLY:
SAY THANK YOU AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE

Praying is like meditating .
Its theraputic and relaxing but is not reliable to work for everyone .
Don`t worry about bothering God , He`s not really there .

Praise him praise him Jesus our blessed redeemer.
Praise God in song, and in words. Many songs have been written just for the purpose of praising God. Without a doubt he does deserve our praise.
Lift up your hands and just spend time, thanking him for what he has done, and let him know you do love him.

God wants you to open your heart to Him. Even though He knows what you are going through, God still wants you to ask Him to help you out.

First don't beg when you pray; trust that your prayer is answered. Then whatever you are asking for tell God that this ____ is for my best and highest good.
So whatever you get; it will BE.

when you pray remember to thank Him for what he has given you as well as to ask for those things that you need.
