I met this guy on Saturday, he asked for my number, I gave it to him. It's Wednesday now and he still hasn't called yet. I don't get it, cuz it seemed like he really liked me. He cuddled me, offered me his jacket and asked for my number, I thought those were pretty strong signals. We were all out in a group by the way.
What do you think? Does he like me and will he call? Guys, if you liked a girl how long would you wait to call her?

Dummy may have lost your number.... Did you ever think of that?
My problem is that I probably would wait until Sunday Morning to call you. Then you'd be like, "How desperate is this guy? What a loser? Get lost, turkey."
He's a dummy for waiting this long. If he wanted to ask you out for the weekend, he should have called to tell you where he'd like to take you so you could prepare.

In the same situation, I will ask for their number esp. if I'm interested. Possibilities are he is already involved/married and was pretending, lost your number, got distracted or embarrassed about calling you (yeah there are guys like this).....
I think you won't know the answer to your question till you track him down and indicate your own interest. I think most guys will typically call back within the week.
I have a frend who found a old boyfriend by finding an old phone number from some 10 years ago but I hope you don't wait that long.

Because he's afraid that you don't want him to call you. All guys feel that way. It takes a great level of confidence for a guy to actually call a girl. It may seem simple, but it's not. Regardless of how a girl really feels, a guy will always feel like it's too soon and that there's no reason that you should even be talking to the girl in the first place. So he's probably waiting for what HE thinks is the right time to call.

I think this guy has problems. I would only ask a lady for her number if I wanted to call and talk to her. Then it a mutual event when you meet and seem to hit it off. Id call her within a day or so, just to say hi start talking more. Then go as the feeling drives the situation. But on the other hand if something happened to this guy that took his mind off you (im talking emergency) then that may delay the call, Have you heard or seen him again? If you have seen him since you gave it out, then sounds like he wont call.

It depends on if this guy is smart...
If he wants you and he's smart he will call you the next day. Why? Because ladies know that a guy is supposed to wait a few days before calling because it makes him seem harder to get. Ah. But the guy that calls the next day. This is something thats unexpected and tells the girl absolutely nothing. Its like a poker face. Kinda.
If he wants you and he's not that smart, he will call you several days later. Why? Because this is what his guy friends say to do. They say wait a few days maaaaan, show her you've got a liiiiife.
So decide what kinda guy this is. Is he an intelligent, experienced playa? Or is this guy gonna make the rookie mistake of calling you a few days later.

I think it is a bit of cat and mouse... I hate it when a really dig the person but it can also be fun. Let him be the Tom you be the Jerry! If it is about play then play. If you completely dig him then flag him again.....so what if he didn't call. Men can be stupid. You have to be smarter then that. When he sees you could care less then that is when the Tom cat starts to want to play again. Other wise if it is not worth it to you then pay him no never mind you deserve better. Girl never let them see ya sweat! :O) There are to many to pick from.

Take a chill pill. Guys do not track time the same way women do. It's been 3 days - to a girl - that equates to 3 days. To a guy that equates to 1/2 a day. Relax, don't put time limits on things.

Relax. He might be unsure of how to start off the conversation, or be working. He may call, or he might have chickened out. Apparently, you are very interested and wish he'd call, so that makes it worse. Don't seem too anxious if/when he does call. Be yourself. Good luck!

if you get the number on a Saturday, call on a Monday. then you don't seem to eager by calling the next day, but you show interest by calling relatively soon.

Reverse it call him and see what he says. He may apologize that he forgot to call. Could be he is double dating. Their could be a number of issues. Just call and make a determination from your call with him
