My mum buys then from her local Coles supermarket (which suprised me as the Coles is in Tuggerah on the Central Coast). They are not available year-round but there seems to be a season for them (not sure what it is though). They are the full fruit but are frozen. They are the Thai durians (which my mum seems to think are not as good as the Malaysian ones). Don't know if other Coles supermarkets also stock them.

In Sydney, I know you can get them in Chinatown (including the fruit section of Paddy's markets) or in Cabramatta.

When I'm craving durian and can't find them, I usually by 'durian cake' which is a stick or little round cake thing of some sort of durian paste which is suprisingly nice and tastes a lot like durian.

In Oz, the good thing is that there is limited awareness of durians so they still haven't been banned from public transport such as in Singapore!

Yep, no problem. Always in my local supermarket (Safeway, Box Hill, VIC).

Not sure what city you live in but go to a town with a large Chinese population and their local supermarket will sell them. They're in the fruit section and you can smell them as soon as you get there even though they're not even peeled.
