Don't know how old you are, or your hereditary factors, drugs you might be taking, but the inevitable eyesight decline begins after age 40, around 43 to 47. It begins with seeing slightly double when reading - there appears to be a ghost of the words above the words you are reading. The only things I know, but can't attest to, are lycopene (in many multiple vitamins), blue berries and other berries for antioxidants, avoid eye strain (ahem.. like spending a lot of time in front of the PC - did you ever walk away realizing that you were squinting?), also small red, red kidney, and pinto beans, artichoke hearts, cranberries. Can't attest because I didn't know these until too late... Also, you might benefit from the use of contact lenses. Unfortunately, the correction is for distance - you may still have to wear glasses in order to read. See your eye doc - there's a lot of new technology now compared to ten year ago. Good luck!

Okay...first of all...is this 1951? Glasses are not so bad right now and some frames actually look good on people. Plus, have you heard of contacts?? Your eyesight will only get worse with time b/c you'll be squinting and putting more strain on your eyes. Down the road, if you can afford it, get lasik surgery.

No. Your eyesight is gonna do what its gonna do no matter. It is a matter of corneal thickness and focus ability and that does not change when you wear glasses or not.The glasses just bring the focal point up or down depending on your rx, but that doesnt physically change your eye so no.

FYI contact lenses will harm the retina of your eye. Do not do so.
Wear your glasses only when you absolutly need them, like reading print that is far away, and when driving.
Try not to wear them at home or familiar places......try it.... it totally improved my vision and my friend's vision.
But like every thing else , combine it with a healthy diet.....veggies, fruit, protein, grains etc.....

laser surgery, and also look up eye exersizes on the web. My friend did special eye exercizes and now does not need glasses anymore. Glasses only make your vision worse over time.

Computer Monitors tend to over time play a huge roll in your sight.
Limit your use and see if you notice a difference,See a doctor anyway you may have something else going on. Don't put it off.

You can't improve your eyesight. Well you could eat carrots or just get contacts.
