You can if you have a cylinder made for the straight walled cartridges. I believe the 32-20 is bottle-necked. So the .32 H&R Mag and it's forebears won't chamber properly.

Live rounds develop a lot more pressure than blank rounds. Probably nothing other than the trigger is strong enough to withstand the power of a live round. Contact a lawyer and see if you can have your criminal record expunged and if so, purchase a real gun.
