Check out this web site - its for APCO (Assoc of Public-Safety Communications Officials - they should have job listings. Sometimes when jobs are tight you might want to start in a small Dept.- Some Dispatchers do both Police and Fire - you could also try starting with an ambulance co.

Good Luck!

If the guy had to stay he does no longer have long gone into the bay. it somewhat is respecting his needs. if that they had tried to shop him, he in all probability could have sued the Police and fire Depts once you talk that they weren't knowledgeable to rescue him which develop into real. there have been decrease backs in Police and fire in each and every county.

Contact the recruitment office of the department you wish to work for, and ask them for info on what is currently opened, and what the requirements are for these positions.
