Absolutely not. tuna should not be fed to a cat once in awhile just a bit for a treat but Tuna posses health problems for cats.
Tuna or other fish offered as an occasional treat should not be harmful, but it should never be offered as a main meal or a portion of a kitten’s regular diet. Most cats like tuna and, if it is fed often, they may become fixated on such a diet and refuse to eat a nutritionally complete and balanced cat food.

Tuna and other fish are not nutritionally complete and balanced. They can have low levels of vitamin E. The resulting vitamin E deficiency may result in steatitis or “yellow fat” disease. Low levels of vitamin E are unable to prevent the oxidation of fatty acids and a yellow-pigmented substance is deposited in the cat’s body fat and causes an inflammatory response.

Signs of steatitis are general soreness and the afflicted cat becomes reluctant to move and is sensitive to being touched. Unless the disease is diagnosed and treated by a veterinarian, the cat stops eating, becomes increasingly weak and dies. Treatment involves supplying vitamin E and changing the cat’s diet.

Fortunately, steatitis can be prevented by feeding high quality nutritionally complete and balanced cat foods

Any cats I know would love tuna, but I was told once, by a vet, that tuna isn't good for cats so I don't give it to them. I doubt that cats would eat vegetables.

Hi there...tuna should not be fed to cats other than as a very rare occasional treat. Some vegetables also can be harmful for cats and others hard to digest. Cats are primarily obligate carnivores and require a diet rich in animal meat protein not soy protein. Without the animal protein they suffer very serious ill medical effects and any vet can confirm this fact as well, which is why it's important not to convert them to become vegetarians.

Here's a web article about Tuna and how it is toxic to cats: http://www.lenhumanesoc.org/Tips/ASPCA-Tuna.htm

"TUNA FOR CATS? NO!
Tuna can be fatal to cats and is not something to be fed to them...The human variety of tuna fish contains an enzyme that destroys vitamin B1 (thiamine). Cats who regularly eat tuna can develop a vitamin B1 deficiency, which results in neurological symptoms like dilated eyes, loss of equilibrium, seizures and death if this vitamin is not replaced. The scientific name of this disease is polioencephlomalacia.

Clearwater veterinarian Richard Brancato said that though most domestic cats do enjoy fish, feeding them a diet of only tuna can cause serious disorders.

Although it is high in protein, tuna lacks sufficient amounts of certain amino acids, mainly taurine, to maintain feline health. There is insufficient calcium to balance the phosphorus; the ratio in canned tuna is 1-to-14.8. This results in bone disease.

Many essential vitamins such as A and most B vitamins are also lacking, Brancato said. A common disease in cats fed a mainstay of canned tuna is steatitis, or yellow fat disease, an inflammation of the fat tissue in the body due to a deficiency of vitamin E.

NEVER EVER feed a cat tuna that is intended for humans. I did without knowing that is wasn't good for her and she had diarrhea. (my vet confirmed that the tuna was the cause)
Don't give that to your cat.

Sure but human tuna is awful rich. You feed that to a cat and they might not eat regular cat food for days.

I give Miss Kitty the water from the tuna cans. She loves tuna water. She laps it up right away and then spends 20 minutes with her tongue flapping all over her face.

It depends. It shouldn't hurt, but don't do it often. My cat (strangely) loves to eat corn on the cob and she is always fine afterwards. If you know anyone who grows their vegetables or sells them in their yard, it would be better if they were organic. Good luck!

i feed my cats small amounts of tuna (~1/4can) every few weeks (it's the only way i can get my oldest to allow me to trim his nails...yay food motivation). it shouldn't hurt as a small amount as an occasional snack.
