Depends on the type of diet. When I was on a no carb diet, the best snack I found was carrot and celery sticks with sweet chilli dip. To make the dip you mix a container of sweet chilli philly cheese with some seafood extender (it's like crab stuff).

Or you could have the vege sticks with low fat dip. You can also have rice crackers (low fat), wholemeal crackers, yogurt, etc.

I eat dried fruit eg apricots, apple, sultanas if you like these. Nuts are filling they're great, slightly higher in fat but with good oils eg raw almonds. A small tub of yoghurt, rice crackers also are another low calorie snack. If you have a cup of tea or coffee (no suger) this will help keep you full for a while....

The key to any diet is that sugar is toxic to
your body so you have to use it minimal.
Protein, fruits and vegetables are the key.
you eat them for 7 days the good stuff,
then you can eat the treat to treat yourself.
Not in access and measure as you eat small
portions 6 meals. Instead of 3 BIG MEALS.

You can make popcorn!
Buy the popcorn in the bag, the kind you have to pop yourself.
Put in plain brown paper lunch bag, layer the bottom of the bag with the popcorn, and pop until popcorn is done.About 1 1/2 minutes or 3 minutes. It depends on your microwave.Flavor with Mrs.Dash's spices or onion powder! Or the artificial butter flavoring, that you can shake on.

I love raw vegs (especially carrots) - aim for the deep color ones, which are richer in vitamins. Also, I'm one of those women who believe in a treat up to a three times in a week - for me that's chocolate or sauce/dressing on something in my meal - whatever seems to break the pattern so I don't get bored and give up before I'm done.

Be a kid once more! When eating out, order the child’s sandwich, pizza or cheese pizza. Then you can have the treats you're keen on, while reducing your portions and cutting your calorie intake.
