I don't think that you are desperate; you just are lonely like ALL of us are-bottom line. We need each other to feel our worth; to feel loved. And to share love and life with someone is a wonderful gift. Just be careful and don't latch on to anyone unless you find that you both are "equally yoked". PS - try to plug into a Church that has a singles ministry. It's a great way to meet lots of single gals all at once!
